Photographer Bram Tackenberg, together with more than 60 residents of the Heerlen neighbourhood of Heerlerheide, has portrayed the humanity of this special neighbourhood in a unique and subdued manner. Proudly and vulnerably, residents opened their doors to him and showed us that they are there.<\/p>\n
This latest subseries of his long-term photo project ‘The Living Rooms’ has been given back to the neighbourhood. Thirty portraits can be seen in the public area around Cornelius Square and in Cultural Centre ‘Gen Coel’. At the same time, the specially produced magazine, belonging to the project, was launched.<\/p>\n

The photo project takes place within the framework of the IBA Expo year.<\/p>\n
